Founded in 1979
Esro was founded by Toon Rooijackers and Piet Swinkels and specialized in deboning head meat. After periods of continuous growth Esro processes nearly 90% of all cow heads in the Benelux region and expanded with further offal processing for customers in Europe and Asia. The company has continued to grow over the years, where the second generation of Rooijackers is now active. The growth is visible in terms of locations, machines, employees but also in our partnerships.
Together we are stronger
In recent years, we have entered into good partnerships with Fayman and with Rabo Investments. Through our partnerships, we are taking important steps towards sustainable and international growth. With our partner, Scales Corporation, we launched a Petfood division in 2023. Together and through our strong partners, we are now globally in both the food and animal feed industry and the meat trade.
Worldwide
Esro started in 1979 with a production site in Nuenen. There are now several production sites in Europe, where our employees work hard every day to process beef products for human and animal consumption. Our commercial colleagues are located all over the world to meet all your needs in the meat industry, both for the food and pet industry.
